Our microbiological lab provides a wide range of services for bacterial testing. We provide our clients with sterile bottles, swabs, plates and media kits to accommodate a variety of matrices from potable water to solids and food products. We offer both presence/absence and quantitative data, with extensive quality control procedures to ensure accurate results.
Food
Endyne has the capabilities to test food solids for microbial contamination, nutrient and protein content. We are accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard for salmonella, listeria, staph, e. coli, yeast and mold testing in food products.
Potable Water
Drinking water potability is a large part of our client base from private homeowners to municipal water systems. We offer detailed sampling instructions and sterile vessels for a variety of bacterial species. Microbial contamination can have immediate adverse effects on public health, so we prioritize immediate notification if a problem is detected. We can also provide advice on how to treat a contaminated well(link to instructions).
Non-Potable Water/Sludge
We have the capability and certification to test for fecal coliform and heterotrophs in process waters, dewatered and pressed sludge, and liquid sludge. We ask that fecal coliform analyses be arranged in advance with our microbiologist to ensure the analytical hold times are met and results can be produced in the most timely manner. Heterotrophic Plate Counts on non-potable and process waters take 2-3 days to incubate, so we recommend sampling and delivering to the lab on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to avoid additional processing fees.
