The following are homeowner testing packages available at our Williston, VT facility. These tests require special sample containers that can be picked up at the lab for no additional cost, or shipped directly to you for a $30 charge. Total Coliform/e. coli – $25
Basic potability test to determine the bacteriological content of the water.
FHA/VA/RD Kit – $85
This package satisfies the requirements for certain mortgage lending institutions. Includes First Draw Lead, Nitrate, Nitrite and Coliform/e .coli.
Common Aesthetics Package – $85
This package tests for parameters which may be the cause for staining, discoloration, debris and build up, or an odor from the water in the home. Includes pH, Chloride, Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Iron and Manganese.
Water Conditioning Package – $150
This package measures parameters that may be pertinent in determining the effectiveness of installing a filtration or treatment system in the home. It can also be used to help determine the type of treatment system needed. Includes Alkalinity, pH, Chloride, Sulfate, Calcium, Barium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Hardness and Uranium.
Common Health Risk Package – $185
This package tests for constituents that are found to be common contaminants in Vermont private water supplies. These parameters are a health risk (primary contaminants) if present in drinking water, and may have no indicating factors (taste, smell, etc) of their presence. Includes Total Coliform/e. coli, First Draw Lead, Nitrate, Nitrite, Fluoride, Arsenic, Uranium and Gross Alpha*.
Table A11-5 & A11-7 – $185
This package is often required by the State Department of Health for buildings and establishments that have commercial use (day cares, restaurants, bars, farms, etc.). Includes Total Coliform/ e. coli, Nitrate, Nitrite, Arsenic, Chloride, Iron, Manganese, Sodium, Odor, pH and Uranium.
Kit C – $200
This package Includes: Nitrate, Nitrite, Chloride, Fluoride, Arsenic, Copper, Hardness (Calcium and Magnesium), Iron, Lead, Manganese, Sodium and Uranium.
Table 11-5 & 11-6 – $235
This package is for NEW WELLS drilled after July 1, 2019. Includes Total Coliform/e. coli, Nitrate, Nitrite, Chloride, Fluoride, Arsenic, Iron, Manganese, Sodium, Lead (First Draw), Total Hardness, pH, Uranium and Gross Alpha.
Comprehensive Package – $300
This package presents the most complete picture of the quality of your drinking water. Includes Total Coliform/e. coli, pH, Total Hardness, Chloride, Fluoride, Nitrate, Nitrite, Sulfate, Arsenic, Iron, Manganese, First Draw Lead, Copper, Sodium, Cadmium, Chromium, Barium, Uranium and Gross Alpha*.
*Indicates parameter will be sub-contracted to an outside certified laboratory.
